What is a DTF transfer?

A DTF transfer is a print on special film — including a hot-melt adhesive layer — that bonds permanently to fabric when applied with a heat press.

Gang sheets

How to apply a DTF transfer

1. Pre-heat your garment to remove moisture
2. Position the transfer print-side up on the garment
3. Press at the correct temperature and pressure — around 160°C for 10–15 seconds with medium pressure as a starting point (full instructions are included with every order)
4. Peel the film (hot or cold peel, as specified)
5. Re-press briefly if required for a smooth, matte finish

DTF transfers are wash-resistant — turn garments inside out and wash at 30–40°C for best longevity.

File requirements

Send your design as a transparent-background PNG at 300 dpi or above at the intended print size, or as a vector file (AI, EPS, SVG). JPEG files are accepted for designs with a white background. We offer a free artwork check — send your file before ordering if you're unsure.
